Staying Active and Informed is the motto of the Swartz Creek Area Senior Center. Our membership enjoys many exercise classes to keep active and fit. The center offers educational classes, seminars and resource information to keep the membership informed. Check on the newsletter page or stop by to pick up a copy. The purpose of the Swartz Creek Area Senior Center shall be to identify and meet the needs of senior citizens. This is achieved through programs designed to provide services in the areas of information and referral, education, health screening, nutrition and arts, recreation, leadership development, personal growth, self-worth, and community involvement.
The Swartz Creek Area Senior Center has adopted a policy of non-discrimination in all programs, services and employment. No one shall be excluded on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, age, martial status, veteran and military status or disability unless required by the eligibility guidelines for services. Inclusiveness is a core value that drives the organization's mission of providing services to benefit persons who are over the age of fifty and reside in Genesee County.

PARTICIPATION FORM: Membership is open to anyone 50 years of age and above and lives in Genesee County. There is not a fee to join the center, but we do ask for a yearly $10.00 Donation, which is not required for membership.
